We work hard on bringing opportunities to our members

This is why UCD Electrical and Electronic Engineering Society is a member of two independent non-profit organisations, IEEE and EESTEC.

IEEE CAS Student Chapter Branch

IEEE opens the door to opportunities that will help you develop your professional identity in IEEE’s designated fields of interest:

Sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). In addition to accessing a range of membership benefits, you’ll make global connections with people who can help you along your targeted career path through IEEE’s international community of members and volunteers. At UCD ElecSoc represents an IEEE Circuits & Systems Society Student Chapter Branch.

EESTEC Junior Local Committee Dublin

Electrical Engineering STudents’ European assoCiation (EESTEC)

is an apolitical, non-governmental and non-profit organisation for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science students around Europe. The Association was founded in The Netherlands, in 1986. Nowadays EESTEC is present in 25 countries and over 50 European universities with more than 4000 members.

EESTEC aims to develop international contacts and to encourage the exchange of ideas among EECS students through professional workshops, cultural student exchanges and publications.
