"help us keep doing what we do best..."

UCD Electrical and Electronic Engineering Society is a non-profit organisation run by students. However, many activities and events we organise require financial and other resources. By becoming our partner you will help us run the society better. In return we will make sure your company’s brand reaches our members and students at UCD.

Robotics Club

Robotics Club is a weekly gathering of a community of electronics hobbyists and tech enthusiasts. Students working on personal projects can come and use the equipment in the lab or seek advice, while others can join one of the group projects. Robotics Club is where many students get their first experience with a hands-on technical project.

Technology Sessions 2020 or TechSesh ‘20 is a student led informal career event aimed at providing students and companies a platform to network specifically in the Technology Industry. Now in its 3rd year, the event is being held virtually using a simple booking system to arrange informal calls between students and employers. Employers simply choose a time during the week that suits them. Students then select a 10 minute slot to speak with the employer. TechSesh 2020 is being held from 12th-16th October.

Site visits

Several times a year we organise trips to offices and sites around Ireland. It’s a great opportunity for students to see what the working environment looks like and learn how companies run their businesses.

Talks & Workshops

We love to engage our members with insight/career talks and workshops. Many of our workshops would not have been possible without collaborating with companies who have the equipment or expertise to help host them.
